The next stage of recurrent medical and social project "Red Chum" starts in NAO
The next stage of the ‘Nar’yana Mya’ (Red Chum) recurrent medical and social project starts on December 2, 2015, in the Nenets Autonomous District.
This year, the medical team – a pediatrician, a general practitioner and a number of specialists - will be flown by helicopter to the village of Indiga, to perform medical checkup and provide medical care to the autochthons of Timan toundra area. The team will bring all the necessary equipment for lab tests, ultrasound and fluoroscopy to be performed on the spot.
Since 2006, the project benefits from annual contribution by petroleum companies Lukoil-Komi and Total E&P Russie.
